Hey there, I’m John Rawsterne and I work as a freelance web designer, front-end coder and illustrator. I’m based near Manchester in the UK and have been a freelancer for over 5 years. In that time, I’ve been lucky enough to work with clients from all over the world. I get lots of repeat work from happy clients. I guess that means that I’m doing something right.

When it comes to web design, I’m a stickler for the details. I hand code all HTML and CSS to ensure that it matches the design in all popular browsers. All front-end coding work is coded with standards based principles and accessibility in mind.

I have lots of experience with a wide range of programs including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. I regularly design and code for ecommerce platforms. If you need a custom Shopify theme, or a theme for another ecommerce platform, I’ll be happy to help.
